    Under the UK Immigration Rules Visa, partner visa applicants are required to show that they meet the accommodation requirements primarily under settlement visa rules. Many partner visa applications are refused by the Home Office as they fail to meet the accommodation requirements, but we urge clients to obtain a property report prior to submitting their application to avoid the risk of refusal. It is very common for UK Visa Officers to refuse a settlement visa application due to the lack of a property inspection report without referring to the sponsor or visa applicant for further information.

    • How long do the reports last?

      UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) guidelines specify that property inspection reports must be no older than 3 months (12 weeks) to be considered valid. If your report is outdated but the property details haven’t changed, we can re-date it for a minimal administrative fee. However, reports older than 6 months require a complete re-inspection to ensure compliance with current regulations.

    • How is my property checked?

      A physical OR in person visit is not necessary as the information provided and the data we hold for properties across the UK allows us to make an assessment in respect of a report meeting the Immigration requirements. We assess and provide numerous reports each week mainly for Spouse/ Marriage visa applications and they are recognised by the Home Office Visa Section as we use an approved and qualified property inspector. Furthermore if you are not at your property due to work commitments or live overseas then our remote assessment service is very convenient.

      We can email you a self assessment document which you can complete and send it back to us via email.
